+ How many images do you include in each package?

+ How long before I get my photos?

For a wedding, brand, birth and lifestyle sessions, I will send you a few sneak peeks the week right after your sessions but the final delivery of the entire collection takes 6-12 weeks depending on wedding season.For lifestyle sessions.

+ Do you offer short films?

Yes, Absolutely!

+ Do you offer albums or photo books?

I love giving my clients a tangible product. I offer premium quality photo books, as well as smaller options for family members. For more info, please see the Prints + Albums section. I have a range of options available for you to choose from that are uniquely chosen.

+ What is the best time of the day for photos?

I absolutely love doing shoots at early in the morning with sunrise and at sunset with Golden hour (prefer to use the last 45 minutes before the sun sets for your session).

+ Do you travel for Lifestyle Sessions?

Yes definitely. My Photography has taken me all around South Africa, Zambia, Mozambique, Canada, Australia and Dubai. I am happy to travel and meeting new clients all over. Should you love your session to take place internationally, please request a custom quotation.

+ How far in advance do we need to book?

Good question! My year fills up really quickly so I would say as soon as you have a date booked send me an email and let’s start planning!

+ How much do you charge?

My wedding investments start at R12 000. Lifestyle investments starts at R1200. Send me an email for more info about the various packages I offer. I customise packages for elopements. Contact me!

+ Can we have coffee?

Yes! Yes please! I would love to meet up. Get in contact so we can make it happen.

+ I live abroad & wouldn't be able to meet until the Lifestyle Session, is this a problem?

Not a problem. I can definitely accommodate you. I have worked with clients that lives abroad and my business is open for long distance building client relationships and communication. My processes are set up online for you and you are welcome to discuss everything with me via Skype meeting. It is always wonderful to meet-up over a cup of coffee if there is enough time prior to the wedding.

+ What if your wedding date changes?

Should your wedding date change for whatever reason, please let me know asap so that we can chat about other suitable dates which will suit the venue, your other vendors and me. There will be no additional penalties for changing your date but there will also be no refunds.

+ Can you help with the planning process?

Yes! Call me if you need referrals, a shoulder to cry on, someone to work your timeline out for you or just a wine buddy. I know lots of people in the industry, let me get you connected ;)

+ What if you can’t make our wedding?

Should I for some reason not be able to make your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances an equally capable photographer(s) will show up in my place and document your wedding in the most real and beautiful way possible. I will then edit all the images myself and make sure everything is up to Chanel Oosthuizen standard.

+ Do you work with an assistant?

Nico, my Husband is my assistant at sessions. I employ another photographer under my business for the day of your wedding depending on the size of your wedding.

+ What equipment do you use? Do you have a back-up?

I absolutely love Canon and Sigma. I have online storing platform such as onedrive and many Seagate hard drives to safeguard your images. I always make sure I have 2 separate external hard drives for backups. As soon as I get home, I back up all of the images. I have an online storage place as a third backup system.
